Jim has consistently achieved Lincoln Financial Advisors Corp. highest performance awards, and top industry recognition for outstanding performance and quality service for his clients. Prior to joining Lincoln in 1991, Jim spent 10 years performing investment and advisory services for several local companies.


Jim’s approach to financial planning sets him apart from others in the industry since his analysis and recommendations encompass all aspects of an individual’s situation – from estate tax strategies and retirement planning opportunities to business continuity and estate preservation. His work consistently demonstrates his unique ability to deliver creative solutions to his client's complex financial concerns. He believes in establishing long-term relationships with his clients and his services entail the design, implementation, and constant review of the planning to remain consistent with the client's ever-changing needs and tax law changes.


Jim specializes in high-net-worth estate planning strategies, wealth management and corporate retirement planning. He and his team have over a $800 million in client invested assets as of June 2023. Jim was selected as a Cleveland Five Star Wealth Manager4 for 2023 making his 10th consecutive year as a Five Star recipient. This award was issued on 7/1/23 by Five Star Professional (FSP) for the time period 10/10/2022 through 05/05/2023. In November 2021, Jim was recognized as a Crain’s Notable Wealth Manager5 in Northeast Ohio based on data from 2021.


Jim is a graduate of The University of Michigan, has a Masters in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve Weatherhead School of Business, and graduated from University School in Hunting Valley. Jim has received the designations of an ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY® 6 in May, 2010 and a CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELOR in January 2008. He is an Investment Advisory Representative, and holds FINRA Series 6, 7, and 63 registrations and maintains the Ohio Life, Accident/Health Insurance and Annuity license. Jim serves on the Leadership Council for University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center. He and his wife Teri have four children and they live in Pepper Pike, OH.
